When Draymond first started to play regularly for GSW, I thought his defense reminded me of Paul Silas in his prime. As I recall Silas was more of an inside offensive player, and a great one on one defender of forwards. Dray was better man on man when he was younger, but his court vision and understanding of opponents has made him an incredible help defender. His intelligence of the whole court basketball game in general makes his overall defense is as good as anyone I've seen

In the usual “aw shit I forgot to say” category, add this: Steve “collaborating” with the main guys is also equivalent to asking them to bring their egos down a tiny bit and accept that there are certain opponents and ball-handlers across the NBA like QJ and RR and Sharpe who are gonna wreak havoc on their theoretical championship-contending paradigm of Steph Jimmy Dray (and a little bit of Al). We need to play some youngsters more, esp with Indy and Portland coming back to the Bay soon. There is definitely urgency on this! Should be fun to see what the changes are…
