I don't really understand what it is that the Dubs are looking for in a PG. None of these guys including GP2 represent real playmakers or scorers. Chiozza is the only one that is even close to being a playmaker in a limited role. Limited minutes seems to be the only criteria that I can see that the Warriors give to their backup PG. The one outstanding skill that a player has in this group is GP2 with his defense and he is athletic, shows well on rebounds and contesting shots. Scoring and assists are another matter including a very poor ft%.
Whoever wants the job most, let him rise up and grab it! This should be fun for a fan to watch.
Who would IT guard? How would that look if he were to run second unit? Especially if Klay isn’t playing much yet…
UPDATE: No IT, but it will be AB and Galloway (and Jordan Bell) for those three remaining training camp spots,’per Shams and Slater https://twitter.com/anthonyvslater/status/1441467393058824194?s=21
UPDATE: Maybe it’s Galloway and not IT and/or AB? We shall see… https://twitter.com/shamscharania/status/1441441490744582151?s=21
How do you think they will resolve the Wiggins situation?
