Btw I couldn’t find a pic with Wiggs and Kuminga in it, so I don’t mean to mislead with the Dray-JK one, it’s just what I happened to find. 🤷🏻‍♂️

AS a team, more FT's shot when JK is in there going to the hoop. Could have used a couple more in the second half.

Thanks for commenting. Yeah, in hindsight JK could’ve played more in the second half but I think I may have figured out why he didn’t. Has something to do with keeping things fair with Juan in terms of opportunity, but maybe I’ll delve into that in a future post. I talked about it at length on the game live commentary postgame (ie somewhere in between hour 4 and 5 lol): https://youtu.be/B_wYFoA7Mb4

Fairness is something to worry about when your team is playing much better than the opponents. Not when the other team is sticking close like a dog chasing a car. I will give it up to JTA for hitting that crucial 3 at the end though (but not for failing to foul Jackson).

1) Juan actually played pretty well and for me, coaches make thousands of decisions each game and if a coach makes a wrong substitution, I don’t really get mad about it because I’ve been there and I know how hard it is.

2) I blame Steph for the last play. He was not in position to foul Justin and Juan fouling their power forward way out there with 10 seconds left is kinda too much time remaining. But I’m not mad at Steph just as I wasn’t really mad about his late behind the back turnover to Klay in the 2016 Finals. It’s just part of the character of Steph and I’m confident he won’t do that again.

But we’re nitpicking. They took the Pacers too lightly but then again it’s human nature to do so. Also the live ball turnovers, specifically by Steph, Andre, Klay, and Looney (that’s right, the guys social media won’t point the finger at — okay, they’ll point it at Loon but maybe they forget he lost the ball too on a run-out turnover). The lack of focus is an easy correction actually imo, ergo I’m not as flustered by this loss as other people seem to be, Lacob included apparently, based on Monte Poole’s tweet late last night.

Loon is playing his best ball (new big man coach?)but he still shouldn't be the target of a two foot pass when surrounded under the basket. That would be the fault of the passer.
