👆 the actual link to the livestream. Brandon Payne couldn’t make it because Steph had some extra things for him to do after a workout, and Mo didn’t login to our Zoom although my DMs to him were marked as “seen”. Still, we managed to get Ian Clark on at the last minute and he overlapped with Festus! Probably the most fun we’ve had on any Live and we had a good one for the 2020 Draft. Fale, Reid and Charlie were great as well, with some inside tidbits on Juan, Wiggs and Klay, respectively.

We are slightly delayed. Technical difficulties.

My fav Festus moment: When he creeped up on Rusty Simmons and me, all dripping with sweat, and leaned his gargantuan frame on our shoulders to bomb a scrum interview inside the Oakland practice facility. I can’t even remember who we were interviewing. All I remember was being splashed on by his sweat! 🤢

For Mo, it was when he’d already left for the Clippers (remember, Bob Myers kinda just left him for his own devices), and still had a summer youth camp here in SF. I pulled out my recorder and asked if I could pepper him with some questions, and he was like, “Oh you want to write a [sic] article?” It was actually hard to write that article (we were partners with a section of USA Today at the time, so I don’t know where to find it) because he tends to slur his words, so transcribing it was tough. I decided I didn’t want to write anymore articles that long quotes from Mo. 🤷🏻‍♂️

For weekday west coast games wife would always wait till Mo hit his first third quarter bucket then say "night-night" and go to bed.
