"How many veteran teams have an under-25 guy who’s as dynamic as JK, integrating with incumbent winners"
Saying the Mavs don't have anyone like that is disrespectful to Dereck Lively.... who arguably brings more of a two-way impact to his team simply because of how good he is defensively.
lol I wrote “how many teams” and the answer to that is, well, yeah, Rich, you forgot about Dallas. In re-reading that, I literally did NOT do a Sith Lord absolute-ism as you’re suggesting. Lol. I love it! You are mathematically incorrect! But yeah, I love Lively and you would know this if you came onto our game livestreams during 2024 Finals. That’s where people act like regular human beings rather than the addiction to complaining or pulling out your sword, as you did above, via thumb-typing. But oh well, thanks for reading and being outraged by my words, which as I mentioned, mathematically you shouldn’t have been, but yeah, maybe learn to not draw your sword everytime you thumb type, k thx bye ✌️ love! 🫶💙💛
Man, don't get so defensive. I was not trying to draw swords, sorry if my tone was misconstrued. I was just engaging in basketball talk as I assumed that's what this platform is for.
Now going back to our friendly discussion - You didn't actually forget about Dallas. You asked 'How many teams' and even went through some of the contenders to see if any had young players at the same level as JK... and you dismissed the Mavs/Lively. Let me quote you directly:
I mean, it’s worth a look, right? Boston: nope, their top four stars are all in their primes. Denver: nope. Peyton Watson is not carrying any offensive burdens; he’s probably the seventh option on offense. Also Christian Braun is a solid role player who has hops, but no one would say he puts pressure on the rim. The Mavs: nope. OKC: they’re already all young and were built through the Draft, so an entirely different animal, plus haven’t won a championship yet. Milwaukee: nope. Lakers (4.5 years removed from their title): heck no, Dalton Knecht isn’t a go-to guy and doesn’t put pressure on the rim. Cleveland: doesn’t count — hasn’t won anything yet — but that team, like OKC, was also constructed through the Draft and a trade that brought in a No. 1-usage rate guy.

Umm, okay, you are correct about Lively. I take it back!
