All that being said (in great detail, wonderfully) I'm baffled that Joe Lacob hasn't been aggressive earlier to try to shore up the team. I'm not sure trade deadline looming is the best time to adjust the team.
Yeah I think that’s where the “psychology of man” type stuff comes into play, and I asked Dean Chambers to look into just when dynasties have had their proverbial “ride til the wheels fall off”. I just don’t know that men can change all that quickly. Simple example: Steph has been a turnover machine his whole life. He’s finally started cutting it down. Why not do this earlier, bro? Lol. So I’m kinda half-joking but I do think it takes even one of the GOATs a certain amount of time to force himself to change hard-wired habits.
Oops I forgot to also say that I remember early in the season I found that Dray had gotten suspended or ejected from 11 of the first 22 games (including the mysterious DNP at DEN early), so really, Joe didn’t have much of a sample size early on.
