This was a great article. Thanks for sharing! Also, I haven't been a regular here, so I'm confused. Are both letsgowarriors and dubnationhq offering paywall subscriptions?

Email me at rich@letsgowarriors.com. Another reader named Ned asked the same question and we spent some time talking and he gets what happened now.

Bjelica probably a much better pickup than Kevon Love, and at a bargain basement price too.

Here's what I want to know: why the heck is everyone wearing masks? I assume they're all vaccinated. So they are unlikely to transmit even the Delta virus. Of course, there are some breakthrough infections, but masks seem both useless and unnecessary in a fully vaccinated environment. I have a friend that required all his employees to get vaccinated - or lose their jobs. He lost a state GM and two truck drivers. But he can't get sued for one of his people infecting someone. His disability rates and health insurance rates aren't going to go up because of days of intensive care unit treatment. The Supreme Court validated an employers' right to require vaccinations. Surely, players aren't idiots (although my understanding is that Bazemore thought his immune system was strong enough). Lacob is not an idiot. The team should require everyone to be vaccinated - then flush the masks.

On another matter - good stuff in the article and vids.

Vaccines dont prevent you from getting infected. It just protects you from landing in the ICU once infected. Obviously some breakthrough cases do occur where fully vaccinated individuals become symptomatic on infection. How do u prevent that? With masks.. so using masks means u are trying to prevent getting infected although if u get infected being vaccinated will save u from ending up in the ICU.medicine isnt occult science. At least some parts of it. This isnt pathophysiology where we break down mechanisms of actions and all that..

Also just from a business perspective, the Wizards got sent home because a couple guys tested positive. Better safe than sorry, even if you had limited knowledge of the science behind this virus. Last thing we want is the development process and workout opportunities of these guys to be shellacked.

Appreciate your response and Dr. Slim's. Nevertheless, still seems like overkill to me. The risk of a hospitalization for people in a fully vaccinated facility is really low - yes, people might get sick, but they get colds and the flu during the year and it doesn't shut everything down. The NBA guidelines were created for pre-vaccine world. They need to update their protocols. And make sure that everyone who comes in contact with players at Dub facilities is vaccinated.
