I have said during all of my live chats that I don’t do predictions. I also don’t do comparisons, rankings, and awards. Those are all the thief of joy. Sorry, not much context here but the thesis is that the billion-dollar media companies want you to think that’s the content you want (entertainment). Meanwhile at LGW, we are laser-focused on information. So, there’s a difference. And some people might actually think of information as their entertainment. And if we find the most value in life through learning, then that reinforces the paradigm. Thanks for listening.
Actually I should say that I did predict Wiseman and Kuminga the past two years. So there are exceptions but I thought those were no-brainers. I tend not to do the one-off prediction unless it’s of the no-brainer type.
OK, I understand... I did see this on the previous post:
[Draft predictions coming tomorrow!]
So thought I might see what you thought rather than just passing on the other media types opinions.
Personally I could not predict, especially not knowing who would actually be available.
I can go out on a limb and say Walker Kessler for defense and rebounding might be someone I'd like to see join the team. LIddell also for defense, maybe Terry for ballhandling, Moore as a safe overall choice. Not sure any of those will end up being there at 28, so many... that it is not really a prediction. LaRavia or Braun are thought to be possibly there so either might be a safe "prediction" .
I might take a gamble on Baldwin if nothing else looks good when it is time...
Part of the fun for something like this is putting opinions out there, even with no real basis for great knowledge, probably like most of the media talking heads who as Draymond knows and says "Don't really understand basketball".
So the team took a gamble with Baldwin, could be a big reach and mistake, or could work out well after recovering from injury, and growing up with GSW culture in a few years. Who knows could be traded also...?
Now we'll see what else might be available in the 2nd round.
So do you have a prediction?

What I meant by that was the Draft predictions would be from NBADraft.net, DraftExpress, BasketballNews and SportsIllustrated, as written about.
