I get that, but at the same time it’s kinda like this: at least Kuminga is so athletic that he can get a shot off no matter what, whereas even a proven shooter like Mulder wouldn’t be able to get a shot off against athletic NBA defense. Idk, I think we want to be careful on both sides of the spectrum: not falling in love with a Draftee, but also at the same time not poking so many holes that you forget a guy was consensus Top 5 since the end the G League Bubble.
The Draft is relative to other guys in the Draft (okay, and available free agents in less than a month) more so than the one-by-one “ceiling comps” like “Kawhi, Paul George, Giannis, Klay” who are basically the blueprints for all of these first-rounders. I’m just making a philosophical statement, mostly (as usual lol).
