Ooh, I like the “GSW owes Oakland” thing with GP2 🙌 and the “shot under construction” parallel (sort of) with EP. as for GP overall, love the guy as a teammate — tons and tons of chemistry with the Summer League team — but I haven’t come to a conclusion yet if the offensive playmaking part is good enough. However, that’s what training camp and preseason games are for, right? Good old fashioned “tryouts” and you love the competition, you know all the parties involved (enter Darren Collison? 🤔) will respect each other for this battle of the 15th spot, Mulder included. Tbh this should be one of the best training camps in the history of GSW just with all the depth, talent and competitiveness. Get your preseason tickets now! (But don’t be mad if I’m wrong lol — I’ve been humbled by the game before!)

Yeah, I think with GP II, I don't care if he scores. What matters is if he can keep the other guy from scoring. How many players in the league score but do nothing on the defensive end, yet have no problem getting on a roster. The whole point of a guy like that on the roster isn't to log regular minutes, but to come in for 8-10 minutes a game and get all up in the Irvings, Hardens, Lillards, Foxes & Morants in the league. We do not have an 'Elite Defender' at POA and I would rather have a 15th man on the roster have 1 elite skill vs. some guy who makes the team by being just average at everything. If the run into injury issues, that's what a guy like Chiozza is good for. I've had my eye on elite POA defenders in the league for years, hoping the Warriors would finally realize they could use one. But you are right, the competition can't hurt and could only make GP II and all involved better. Can't wait.
